DISPUTool 2.0: A Modular Architecture for Multi-Layer Argumentative Analysis of Political Debates

Political debates are one of the most salient moments an election campaign, where candidates challenged to discuss main contemporary and historical issues in a country. These represent natural ground for argumentative analysis, which has always been employed investigate political discourse structure strategy philosophy linguistics. In this paper, we present DISPUTool 2.0, automated tool relies on Argument Mining methods analyse from US presidential campaigns extract argument components (i.e., premise claim) relations support attack), highlight fallacious arguments. 2.0 allows also automatic analysis piece debate proposed by user identify classify arguments contained text. A REST API is provided exploit tool's functionalities.
